Chocolate Chip Cake

Chocolate Chip Cake

Servings: 8

Ingredients:
1/4 cup melted butter
1-1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 pinch salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. milk
2 cups pre-sifted flour (all-purpose)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
16 oz. pkg. of chocolate chips
Cinnamon sugar; optional crushed pecans or walnuts

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips with electric mixer, at slow speed until smooth. Fold in chips by hand. Pour into buttered 10" tube pan, bake at 350 F. for 45 minutes.
Immediately after baking, sprinkle about 2 to 3 Tbsp. of cinnamon sugar, and crushed nuts if desired, on top of cake. Let cool about 20 minutes before removing from tube pan.
